OXX Digital Australia has been established to serve the Australian Digital Radio market, providing the same sleek radios that have been in demand across Europe for some time. Together with our Danish based parent, we offer  Scandinavian design coupled with cutting edge technology.

In case you were wondering how to say our name, OXX rymes with Rocks! not 'O  ex  ex' 

The OXX Digital brand is distributed in many markets around the world including Denmark, Germany, Holland, Norway, Sweden, the UK , the USA and of course Australia. Our Headquarters is in Denmark and we also have an operation in Sydney, Australia.

Digital Radio was launched in 2009 in Australia and 3 years down the track there are up to 20 Digital Only channels in each of the metro areas that receive the DAB+ signal.

Digital Radio

Digital Radio (DAB+) was officially launched in Australia on 6th August 2009. Heralded as the way of the future, Digital Radio is currently available in the metro areas of 5 capital cities; Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. In the future (2013 and beyond) , Digital Radio is planned to be rolled out into rural areas of Australia. In addition there are ongoing trials in Canberra and Darwin.

At OXX Digital however, we also cater to those outside the 5 capital cities to whom digital radio is not yet available. Our Classic DAB+ radio features internet radio, so listeners can choose from over 25,000+nternet and podcast stations streamed from anywhere around the globe.

Digital Radio is an information revolution, with cutting edge digital technology (DAB+) now allowing for previously unthinkable ideas such as the ability to receive images and information through your radio, similar to a television. Forecasts for the years to come predict Digital Radio will converge with image technology, attracting new advertisers who may never have before considered the charms of radio due to the lack of visual opportunity.

At OXX Digital we have designed a roadmap that ensures we will continually evolve to include all the latest and cutting edge features that DAB+ technology allows.
